The Labor Orientation is a work camp that possesses a tour of several decades; nevertheless, the recognition has been poor, not being thought in the majority of the countries as a profession, but rather as an occupation or one more function of the work place. This way, the training that is given for the counsellors is in the habit of being very basic, with limited specialization, lack of significant learning and of transfer of the knowledge to the real situations.
The aim of this work is to analyze the training offered through the network (for being the most used via looking for training). So, a search was carried out across the network and a classification of the same ones was done by means of a series of selected criteria.
The results show a lack of directives with regard to the suitable profile of the figure of the professional of the orientation. The above mentioned lack remains reflected in the shortage of unanimity in the contents, of interdisciplinarity, of coherence in the number of formative hours and approached contents and of development of transverse competences. These results must serve as reflection to develop educational policies of quality that assure the qualification of the professional of the orientation.
