Introduction and teaching use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in Grenadian rural schools (Spain): descriptive study
Abstract

This article presents an investigation supported by the Ministry of Science and Innovation of Spain (AP2007-00294), and carried out with 59 teachers in rural public schools in the province of Granada, where it is analysed, by using the survey method, and from the main perspective of teacher training, the type of use that teachers in this environment made of ICT both inside and outside the classroom, checking, in conclusion, that these technologies have supplanted the radio and television as the main teaching resource in these particular schools, although their main use is still restricted to make notes, class materials, visual PowerPoint presentations, etc.
