Schooling Failure of Upper Middle Education.
The Experience of a Mexican University Baccalaureate
 
Abstract
 
The knowledge of the different variables, extra-curricular and intrascholastic, that affect the scholastic failure has become a topic appellant, especially when many of the studies realised about this phenomenon show that the students incur a situation of academic failure and desert of the school leaving their studies without obtaining the corresponding degree as a result of the absenteeism in class or the school, of the censure or the nonaccreditation of several disciplines or subjects of some of the degrees of the educative cycle that attend, the consequent repitencia of the reprobated courses and the delay or I leave behind educative that entails. For this reason, it is emphasized here that to still lower the high quantitative indices that demonstrate the magnitude of the scholastic failure in the Preparatory Academic Unit of the Independent University of Zacatecas, Mexico, is necessary to realise interdisciplinary studies with the intention of knowing and taking part the problematic one of deeper way and taking care of the diverse factors intrascholastic motivate that it. The objective of this work consists of presenting/displaying the historical magnitude and the evolution of the scholastic failure in the baccalaureate of this university through the censure and the desertion as objective evidences. From it, it is tried to motivate the collective analysis, reflection and the valuation that lead to the construction of alternatives of solution to this problematic one.
