Evaluating Teachers Performance. Peru, an Experience Under Construction

In Peru is too premature to talk about the teacher evaluation system. It's construction process. The Peruvian experience must be assessed based on context and magisterial what has been educational policy regarding teacher training and their subsequent integration into what is their performance in exercising its powers. The teacher training has gone through all stages and understand that the smooth feel of governments who have been in power.

In assessing trends exist preferably quantitative, being easily measurable. Leave aside what they have to do with the work out of everyday life in school or thinking about practice. They should join other major categories for formulating educational policies based on the idiosyncrasies of the country.

The Peruvian experience presented wants to contribute from their contradictions to continue building a culture of teaching evaluation is undoubtedly a complex process where the wealth of interdisciplinary work every day to bring the utopia that is the quality of education, to consolidate professionalization of teachers and improving teacher training institutions and educational institutions of the community.
