Educational Innovation on Collaborative Learning with CMAPTOOLS in
the Initial Teacher Training

.Abstract
 

Among the main skills that teachers must acquire nowadays in the process of initial training, we should highlight the educational use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), teamwork and the ability to reflect his own knowledge. In order to collaborate to the development of such aspects we have carried out a project of educational innovation, where the teaching student learn to make concept maps individually and in groups , using CmapTools. This software is free and useful in order to integrate ICT of practical form in the educational process, as it allows the development of an active methodology while promoting the reflexive learning and the teamwork. After analyzing the collected data we have found that the future teachers show positive opinions about the strategies and resources used in this experience, especially appreciating the process of collaborative learning in the classroom.
