Communication and Information Technologies as an Innovation on the Teacher’s Formation and Action Process

.Abstract
 

This paper focuses on the movement of construction and adaptation (assimilation-accommodation) of educational practices in the context of the Distance Education Course, Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, in the framework of the Open University of Brazil (UAB), with a focus on understanding set of interactions between teachers / tutors and students to carry out the teaching action mediated Virutal Environment for Teaching and Learning (AVEA) Moodle. Its main goal is to reflect on educational practices and the movement of integration and adaptation of Information Communication Technologies (ICTs) in the process of formation and action of teachers. This study first analyzes the inclusion of ICT in education and pedagogical practices of the teacher in this new context. Later records of activities has developed in the course of the AVEA, reflecting on the interaction and dialogue present in this work. Finally, we seek to contribute to the development of a process of awareness and demystifying the integration of technology resources in educational contexts, from the account of our practices, where the advent of Distance Education (EAD) leads to [re] construction in the processes of teaching and learning within higher education.
