The evaluation of the programs of formation of professors in service is a challenge for the specialists as much of the field of the formation as the field of teaching evaluation and, because of it, it is generally the less worked scope in the programs of teaching formation. This article’s objective is to argue on the challenges faced by the evaluation of programs of teachers’ formation departing from a particular case lived in the Autonomous University of Baja California. The introduction of this text explains the problematic with the evaluation of professors’ formation. A second part characterizes the methods of cooperative learning. The third section of the document is dedicated to describe the way in which an experience of professors’ formation in methods of cooperative learning and the different levels of evaluation that were employed. Finally a reflection on the specific problematic is presented to evaluate processes of formation of complex didactic methods.
