  Abstract

What diversities have been considered susceptible to inclusion within higher education institutions? What tools has Chilean public policy provided for the development of inclusiveness? What does it mean to approach inclusive education of diversities from a justice perspective? The objective of this article is to offer a critical reflection on the concerns presented, highlighting the scope and challenges that the problem poses for higher education. Methodologically, a conceptual approach of a deductive nature is carried out that begins with a documentary review of some historical and contextual antecedents of the Chilean case, to then particularize the consignment of diverse groups that have had a place in public policy. Finally, challenges are outlined for an inclusive higher education of diversities from a perspective of educational justice, focusing on three levels of action: macro, meso and microeducational.
