Abstract | ||||||
This article analyzes from a critical perspective the many problems and challenges facing special education current approaches to inclusive education. While recognizes the contributions of special education and the role it has played in the education of students with disabilities , supports the need to re-imagine their role , for which it is necessary to have clear that the access to quality education for all learners is an issue of rights, to defy the idea of many teachers that students have immutable learning abilities and to search for the learning of all students instead of maintaining the approach that highlights the differences. Finally proposes the inclusive pedagogical approach as transcending the concepts of special and regular education, because it is based in the process to provide support for everyone, taking into account the diverse learning characteristics and needs of each. |
