Abstract | ||||||
There is a possibility whitin the educational system of the Colegio Nacional de Educación Profesional Técnica (CONALEP) of Morelos, México, for young deaf people to become part of an intercultural bilingual model. The parents’ choice about CONALEP as an option for their deaf children education, responds to the need of continue educating them as professionals in order to reach a better quality life in the future; however, the educational expectations and works of these young people are still having a strong stigma because of their hearing condition. |
